No, I agree with everything you say ... if it is done with the right audience/niche to support it.

The reason I reacted to your first post is that my audience is too small, and as capital equipment, attention is fleeting.

Sorry about messing up your blog post. :-)

I suspect mileage will vary. How the trades will fare depends on niche, audience size, growth rate etc.

But generally, I think most have a strong position in the market but will need a serious re-examination of business model to adapt to changes in buying cycles.
